During Arab Health 2024 in Dubai, Emirates Health Services (EHS), BHealthCare, and FutureGate Healthcare Solutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to develop robotic blood collection services using HEIVA — the world’s first fully autonomous robotic blood collection system. The landmark agreement positions the United Arab Emirates at the forefront of healthcare robotics innovation.
The MOU was signed in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Yousif Al-Serkal, Director General of Emirates Health Services, and His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Salim Al Olama, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health & Prevention, underscoring the strategic importance of the partnership at the highest levels of the UAE’s healthcare leadership.
“We are joining forces with EHS and BHealthCare to position the United Arab Emirates as the first country to implement groundbreaking robotic blood drawing technology.”
Under the terms of the MOU, the three parties will collaborate across several key areas:
As part of the agreement, Emirates Health Services is prioritized as the first entity to benefit from BHealthCare’s innovation in the UAE, reflecting the government’s commitment to adopting advanced healthcare technologies that serve the nation’s population.
FutureGate Healthcare Solutions, the exclusive distributor of BHealthCare in the UAE, facilitated the partnership and will play a central role in the deployment, integration, and ongoing support of HEIVA technology across EHS facilities. The collaboration marks a significant milestone in the UAE’s journey toward becoming a global leader in healthcare automation and robotics.
