FutureGate Healthcare Solutions Partners with RT Healthtech for AI Rehabilitation Robotics in MENA

FutureGate Healthcare Solutions has entered into an exclusive distribution partnership with RT Healthtech, a Hong Kong-based healthcare technology company affiliated with Hopebotics — the Neural Rehabilitation & Robotics Laboratory at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). The partnership designates FGHC as the exclusive distributor of RT Healthtech’s clinically validated AI-driven wearable rehabilitation robotics across the entire MENA region.

The agreement brings a portfolio of advanced rehabilitation systems to hospitals and rehabilitation centers across the Middle East, addressing the growing demand for evidence-based neurorehabilitation technologies. The product range includes HandTasker, a hand and wrist recovery system designed for fine motor rehabilitation; XoBrace, an AI-powered lower limb exoskeleton for gait training and mobility restoration; and XoMuscle, a pioneering artificial muscle technology that replicates natural movement patterns to support functional recovery.

Developed through years of research at CUHK’s Department of Biomedical Engineering under the leadership of Prof. Tong, these systems have already been deployed in more than 40 hospitals worldwide, serving over 300 patients across multiple clinical settings. Clinical trials have demonstrated significant therapeutic outcomes, with patients showing an improvement of more than 80% in Fugl-Meyer Assessment – Upper Extremity (FMA-UE) scores after just 20 rehabilitation sessions.

As part of the partnership development, a delegation from FutureGate Healthcare Solutions visited The Chinese University of Hong Kong’s Department of Biomedical Engineering, where the team met with Prof. Tong and the research group responsible for developing the Hopebotics technology platform. The visit provided an in-depth look at the science behind the rehabilitation systems, including ongoing research into neural interfaces, motor learning algorithms, and adaptive robotic control.

The FGHC delegation also visited hospital facilities in Hong Kong to observe the clinical deployment of RT Healthtech’s rehabilitation robotics in real-world settings. During these visits, the team met with hospital clinical and director teams to understand workflows, patient outcomes, and the integration of robotic rehabilitation into existing clinical pathways.

The partnership strengthens FutureGate Healthcare Solutions’ rehabilitation department offerings, complementing the company’s existing portfolio in pharmacy automation, ICU monitoring, and digital health. By adding clinically proven AI rehabilitation robotics to its technology suite, FGHC continues to expand its mission of bringing transformative healthcare technologies to the MENA region — spanning the full continuum from acute care to long-term recovery.
